Palm Harbor Middle School has been involved with many community projects this year including the Annual Canned Food Drive that was held last month. The PHMS Student Council with the leadership of Mrs. Herrig, 8th grade Social Studies Teacher, collected cans and non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army Food Drive held November 5th through November 12th. Thank you to all who were able to donate and support this great cause.

Congratulations to Mr. Wipoj Huse, PHMS Art Teacher. He has been nominated for Teacher of the Year by PHMS. Three of his students have been selected as the top winners from our school for the International Peace Poster Contest sponsored by the Lions Club. Anthea Knappe received 1st place, Janis Wang received 2nd place and Ben Chong received 3rd place.
